That all said, this lets you change the power-on bootscreen of your phone!
Not the bootanimation shown by the booting OS (that is supported to be changed my many custom kernels), but the static power-on splash screen you see the first thing when powering on the phone.
In addition this app also lets you change the bootscreen when you plug in power while the phone is turned off (before the battery-charging animation is shown).
This app lets you pick ANY image you have stored on your phone to be used as bootscreen and using it's "crop image" function the image gets automatically resized to the proper dimensions and converted into the proper format.
